Hi, my name is John Eilermann. I’m an architecture student living in St. Louis, Missouri. My education requires me to spend long hours reading about architectural influences and histories of structures. I’m fortunate enough to be based in a city where great architecture is in abundance.

Since I was a child, I’ve marveled at the beauty of skyscrapers and even houses that possess the utilitarian and aesthetics ends of the rope and have them meet. This is the crucial consideration in this industry. My city is known for the Gateway Arch, the tallest monument constructed in the United States. Not only do we have this monument, we also have structures that carry influences from the French Colonial, German, and early American styles. I’m fortunate enough to see all these masterful pieces in my everyday travel.

Architecture and blogging are my passion, so with this blog, I’m ready to share with the world the history and trends for architecture and what it means to build and design, while developing your own taste in constructing a masterpiece.
